Clocking up 25 years in the media industry, my primary career for 20 years was as a full-time talk radio host. I guided my hometown of Christchurch through the dark days of the 2010/11 earthquakes on my morning radio show.
In 2005, I began pursuing my passion for travel media, and I’m now writing full-time across a range of APN and Fairfax newspapers, magazines and I’m contracted as a travel correspondent on New Zealand’s No.1 radio station, Newstalk ZB.
At last count, I’ve travelled to 82 nations, and I’m regularly hired as an international tour leader, which included this year’s Gallipoli Centenary Commemorations. My all-time favourite countries are Italy and Greece.
