If you’re looking for something fun to do on the Gold Coast, you might want to put a Mixology Class at Fix Bar, Hilton Surfers Paradise, Queensland on your list.

Fix Bar is a buzzing night spot and a good place to meet and chat. It’s elegant and sophisticated and has a great atmosphere.

The bar has a chic interior that leans towards vintage and a wonderful cocktail menu. The list of cocktails ranges from classics to creative contemporary concoctions.

I booked into a Mixology Class with a group of friends and had an absolute ball. We learnt how to make cocktails (some I’d never even heard of).

My favourites were the British martini, adult chemistry kit and Fix Espresso. Of course, after making them someone had to taste them. Needless to say, the afternoon was filled with merriment and laughter.

The bartenders are extremely enthusiastic and it’s obvious that cocktail-making is a craft. My classmates and I definitely had a good time making the delicious cocktails and even more fun gulping them own after.

It’s a perfect thing to do if you’re travelling in a group and are looking for a bonding activity.
