Spring is the best time to travel to Macau if you’re on a budget, as summer is usually the holiday season.

Hotels are slightly more affordable in spring, but overall, but don’t expect bargain basement prices during any specific season as Macau is always busy with tourists who want a taste in gambling and the culture all year round, thanks to its subtropical climate.

The good news is that many scenic spots and landmarks in Macau are free, including the famous Ruins of St. Paul, St Dominic’s Church and A-Ma Temple.
