Fresh air, rice terraces, Balinese people are very friendly and courteous. Nature, vegatation, forest.. waterfalls and temples. My husband and I stayed at Aksari Ubud Resort & Spa … this place is my personal version of paradise. Staff were very cordial… they aim to please … the resort has great amenities and awesome infinity pools. The entire place has wifi, room has smart TV with Netflix, the resort is clean and very well maintained and smells like aromatherapy (spa) with “zen” music..,

Its got some lovely attractions and sights. Its peaceful and quiet without being too remote. Spending time amongst the people here gives you a sense of what life in Bali is really like and not just what they put on for tourists.

Last time I came to Bali, I only stayed in Ubud. Tegalalang is only a short trip away, but it is so peaceful and absolutely beautiful. Waterfalls, rice paddies, jungle, friendly locals and you really can experience Bali here. I have never felt more grateful, free and alive. Make sure to rent a moped to get the most out of it!

Far away enough from the city centre to be tranquil and relaxed with plenty of local activities such as the rice terrace and swings, close proximity to temples, waterfalls and volcano without the hustle and bustle of the centre.

Beautiful scenery, friendly village lifestyle, great food...
Beautiful scenery, friendly village lifestyle, great food and 5 star villa with your own private pool. This villa is so close to Ubud, yet far enough away to get out of the busy tourist zone. Being so central, you can access everything Bali has to offer and then return to the comfort, peace and tranquillity of Jason Village. The manager and his family were outstanding, offering honest helpful advice and recommendations . This villa provides complete privacy and also opportunities if you enjoy engaging with the local community. We have travelled in Bali three times previously and would rate this beautiful villa within Jasan Village and all it has to offer as nothing short of outstanding. Can’t recommend this villa enough! Very well priced, away from the tourist traps but so easy to access if you want. It offers a traditional balinese experience with 5 star accomodation.
It’s a beautiful little location close to the rice terrace. Comfortable and clean. Friendly and helpful owners.
I asked for a kettle for my morning coffee and got one. Instead of a tv I’d have just put a kettle and fridge in their instead and somewhere to hang your towels in the bathroom. Just a little more attention to detail and this place could be much better and probably be able to charge more. Nothing was a big issue though and was very happy with my stay.
It was an amazing stay in Nau Villa Ubud.
The staff is extremely friendly, and they do their best to help us.
The breakfast is very good and you get to choose from a menu which changes nearly each day.
Even though the villa itself is a bit far from Ubud, the hotel has a free shuttle service on 10am, 3pm and 8pm to the center or Ubud (otherwise the trip would cost around 160k Rp by grab)
The private swimmingpool is amazing, having a great view on rice fields
My stay at Villa Tanah Carik was peaceful and relaxing amongst the rice field!
The room and bathroom is big ! I really like the way the decorate the room.
Swimming pool is nice too.
There is a cafe Green kubu nearby and also A vegetarian warung literally accros à the street!
It’s also easy to go to Tegalalang nearby attraction by Gojek.
If you are looking to relax outside of crowdy Ubud this is the perfect place too ☺️
Suksma 🙏✨
Perfect place to stay to relax and escape the busy side of bali - this property is a hidden gem. You can get everything you need on this property (excellent food, massages, laundry etc.) No need to leave this amazing hotel if you don‘t want to. Free water, comfortable common space and amazing pool and lounges! Great Wifi and Taxi driver available and super friendly, just like the rest of the staff.
You cannot ask for a more serene setting. After the hustle and bustle of Ubud arriving at Papas Villas was truly paradise. Wayan and his family could not have been more friendly or helpful. From great meals to driving us wherever we wanted to go. The villa was very nice and extremely clean. And the view cannot be beat. We were extremely happy with our stay.
Amazing hotel. Beautiful location in the middle of the rice fields/jungle outside Ubud away from the busy city center (30 min drive) but totally worth it! very friendly staff always happy to help. We rented a scooter and also did the rafting via the hotel. We recommend going there 100 % - our private villa with private pool was perfect!
I loved everything about this stay. The staff were very attentive and caring. They made my stay very comfortable. Booking the massages was very easy. They have multiple activities you can do inside and outside the hotel. The villas are very private and quiet. I would definitely stay here again. The scenery was so beautiful and calm.
super nice brand new 3 bedroom private villa.
its just 5 min walk to the famous tegalalang rice terrace also just step away to Alam harum day club.
its 30 min to reach ubud center, but i dont really dont mind as we can find some option for eat close by.
the staff and owner so welcoming and we would like to be back next time
Overall the Pool Villa was really good, totally recommended. The staff is super helpful at all times and always willing to make your stay comfortable.
The Bali breakfast was amazing, and although its a bit isolated, the staff provided help renting a motorbike wihch allowed us to explore the island and move around easily.
Let's start with the good things: location is calm, nice, in the middle of rice terraces. It has a charm of "being nowhere" with beautiful surroundings. The room size is quite spacious and well furnished with the rusty village style. There is peace and quiet and fair distance between rooms, so the privacy is good.
The place is amazing! So so beautiful it looks like paradise. It is very var from the Ubud center but they provide transportation if you need to. The rooms are so fancy and the bed is really comfortable. I loved doing the free activities during the day like the nature walk, yoga and making Canang.
The host is literally amazing, he helped us so many times, even after we left the hotel. It's hard to describe how nice he was ! We had a really great time. And also the beds were really good ! Best bed in two weeks in Bali.
All the staff were kind and friendly.
The foods at the restaurant is good.
The jungle view is great, to
it's 30 min to downtown Ubud and operates a shuttle.
If i come to Bali next time, i would like to visit again
Absolutelly amazing stay in the jungle hotel. Nice and friendly staff. Excelent accomodation and food. Not far from hotel great opportunities for trips. Ehen we come back to Bali, we stay here for sure!
Very nice and helpful staff, attentive and available at any time. Hotel with a very nice view over the rice terraces. Quiet, calm and decorated on the Balinese way
The spacious room and the view of the sunrise and rice terrace in front of the room. The peace and restful environment is what we enjoyed about the property.
Lovely and peaceful with beautiful view of rice terraces. Very agreeable staff and all requests were met. It was an easy walk to the rice terraces trekking.
