Staff was courteous and helpful, no doubt. However it was more mechanical than applied. Food was good, but a variety wud have been appreciated. Help on local sight seeing was forthcoming but should be more qualitative than summery. Big balconies were welcome but were not useable as protection from monkeys was absent. I had two days stay in the hotel.This hotel is in the middle of the forest.If someone is bored of the urban life this is one the finest place to relax and chill.It’s worth for 2 to 3 days stay.Few difficulties I found with the property is the accessibility.We have to travel around 2 to 3KM off-road to reach the property.I enjoyed it as I had an SUV with me,I believe this road will be quite difficult for small cars. I had a feeling that the hotel could have organise some kind of activity for the customers like trekking or something else to spend some time on. There is no safety for customers roof tiles may fall on your head any time and in that case they provided alternative room which is inferior quality and low standards. Highly unsafe for children and elders. Management focus only on money making and no responsibility towards their fault.

I would probably only go here if you had a solid plan mapped out or a guide otherwise it’s very difficult to find things to do. Most of the attractions are things like a lake or a dam, if you’re looking for nature and trekking/hiking there’s only 1 or 2 here, would go to munnar instead of you’re on the hunt for something in the mountains/nature appreciation.

Vegetarians might find it difficult coz there are not many pure veg restaurants around. Surrounded by beautiful Greenery around is a treat to body & mind. Banasura dam, tea factory, hillview places are a must on your itenary.

Bedroom right on top had amazing views of the sunrise. Since we visited with our toddler, we were keen to stay in a place with an attached kitchen; worked out well for us to make baby food. Staff were incredibly cooperative and kind. Overall a comfortable stay. The food that we ordered from the care taker (Mr. Mujib), was excellent. Enjoyed authentic Kerala cuisine.
