For its age, the property is very well maintained and it was a pleasure to stay there. The owners were present every day and I saw them engage with guests all the time which shows they are committed to their guests and their property. The staff were all wonderful and attentive from the front desk people, the restaurant servers, the bartender, and the porter. The included breakfast was great, the food at Jack’s Brasserie was delicious, and the views from our balconies were beautiful

This property is in such an awesome location with amazing views and the person at the front desk was great; he was very friendly and went out of his way to assist us. We stayed in a family suite with a queen bed downstairs and two twin beds in the loft. The room was great with a balcony and views on both sides. Waking up to falling snow and views of the snow capped mountains was amazing.
Also loved that the hotel is pet friendly and right next to the Wengen station.

I liked Wengen very much. There’s a decent selection of restaurants and a few shops to browse around. It’s easy to get to and easy to get to Mürren and Grindelwald from. The scenery is stunning and everyone was very friendly. A great stay

Our first trip to Wengen and although it’s a trek to get there it is easy using Swiss rail network. Fabulous mountain village and benefits from being traffic free. The skiing was great although not extensive and other areas are a challenge to get to but enough above the town for a weeks casual skiing. Those who like to travel around may find it restrictive. There is one T bar lift to get back to Wengen if you traverse to Klein Schenigg which is a pain but you can either ski down to Wengen or take the train if T bars are not your thing ( not ours!). The town has a range or bars and restaurants but is peaceful. A few shops too selling ski wear, walking gear and Swiss stuff as you would expect. Local food shops are well stocked as well. We used the COOP mainly. They also sell firewood if your place has a log burner.
We went to ski but would love to go back in warmer times to trek as it looks fabulous!

Wengen was straight out of a postcard!
Wengen was straight out of a postcard! The town was charming and the views were second to none. The vacation was wonderful for us as a couple, but is also very family friendly. There were well behaved dogs with many of the visitors as well. I cannot wait to return!

The setting in the Jungfrau Region is jaw-dropping.
The setting in the Jungfrau Region is jaw-dropping. Small village feel with accomodations ranging from rustic to luxurious. Traffic-free, except for the occassional taxi or public works vehicle. Train access to high apline environment is unparalleled! Just wish the snow was better in late January.

Stunning scenery wherever you go.
Stunning scenery wherever you go. Good mix of transport options (train, gondola, cable cars) - just need a bit of patience as only runs every 15-30 mins. Great place for sledding, walking and just enjoying the majestic mountains.

Very cute town with lots of local places to eat/drink and shop on the on-season. Since we were there during slack, there were VERY few options. Wouldn't recommend unless it's full-on winter or full-on summer!
Great Hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. Shout out to Monica at the reception who went above and beyond to help us.
The hotel itself is very clean and located in the beautiful town/village of Wengen.
The rooms had the most brilliant view and we could have easily spent our whole vacation in the balcony just looking over the Swiss alps.
The staff helped us transport our luggage to and from the train station (which is just a 10 min walk from the hotel).
Breakfast was good, and I will definitely return.
Every thing was perfect. Julie is probably the best host i have ever come across, she is very professional. The check in instructions were clear and helpful and the whole process was seamless. The property itself was better than a 5 star resort suite. It was spotless, excellent size for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids, kitchen was well equiped, location was excellent and close to the train stations and above all majestic views.
I would highly recommend to contact Julie if you are travelling to Wengen.
The location of Hotel Regina is unbeatable, just a stone-throw away from the station, very easily reachable. The view from the room was unbeatable, completely unobstructed in the direction of Jungfrau. There isn't a hotel with a better view in Wengen. The room was crisp clean, sufficiently spacious (I stayed in a single room), well equipped. The bed very comfortable. Cute little balcony facing the valley provided enough space to sit with a coffee and enjoy the unbeatable view.
Very friendly welcome in small family run hotel a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Good choice of continental breakfast, beautifully cooked four course evening meals. Rooms simple, modern and comfortable, balcony had great view of mountains. Free storage arrangement with ski and boot depot in centre of town worked well to minimise carrying skis and walking in ski-boots.
Originality of the town, authentic architecture, car free, and very family friendly. Lots of lovely walks. Easy public transportation access to Wengen (we came by train). Incredible ski region, and kids and beginner slopes in the middle of the village. Our hotel Jungfraublick was wonderful! And we were picked up at the train station by the sweetest driver.
Beautiful property, clean modern updated rooms with incredible views of the valley. Sauna and Jacuzzi open till late. Proximity to Ski Lift and Train. You can literally ski down to the hotel. Very convenient location.
Staff is super friendly, Sanya was super nice and made us feel welcome. Home atmosphere. Breakfast are super delicious..
My room was a bit small, reflected in the lower price, but offered a A+ view of Wengen and the mountains. Andreas and his wife, who run the hotel, were superb, very friendly and helpful, and took our heavy bags and us from the train station up to the hotel, including a 'village tour' en route.
The view is unbeatable from the rooms. The location is also perfect, its a quiet place in Wengen. The man who owns the hotel (with his wife?) is also very nice and smily/positive.
BUT: go to Gimmelwald. Wengen is too much touristy- Gimmelwald is the real Switzerland.
A perfect base for our first trip to Switzerland with great access to the whole Jungfrau area. The apartment had everything we needed and the views from the balcony were so good we decided to stay in to eat every night as we had the best table in the house.
loved the location, staff, views, bedding and the chalet was roomy. loved sitting outside on porch. kitchen was very nice also. loved we had room to spread out. lobby was lovely. we stayed in the chalet behind the hotel with our large family
Good size room with twin beds. Mountain view. Hotel staff were exceptional. Nice variety at breakfast. Excellent restaurant. Located on the main road in Wengen. Cable car and train access within just a few minutes.
The rooms were classic Ski Lodge style and the beds were amazing. They even had a lift so you could prop yourself up to watch TV. The Bathroom was larger than many other hotels we stayed in during our trip.
The room was very comfortable and the highlight is the wellness area. Perfect amenities for relaxing after a long day in the mountain. The hotel is located a few meters from the Wengen train station
Really friendly family run hotel. The 4 course dinners are good value for Switzerland and quite fun! They cater for vegetarians too. Beautiful alpine architecture and views. Highly recommend!
friendly staff best location I will stay again in this hotel inshallah all the staff who worked and met are lovely amazing beautiful friendly staff always lounging and very cooperative
perfect hotel ! Really loved the library. Room was very nice and clean. All Staff was very kind. If I travel switzerland again, I would definately come back to this hotel
