Excellent! Great place to go with school-aged kids.
Excellent! Great place to go with school-aged kids. In addition to the park we went to Sky's the Limit at night for the telescopes, which was amazing. We enjoyed Crossroads Cafe and Rib Co. for food. Definitely would return!

High points: at the end of one of the two main roads you'll find Keys View. stunning view into the valley. We arrived about an hour before sunset and it the light was perfect! Take the Barkers Dam trail and on your way back head over to the petroglyphs. Continue on, around the rock face, and you'll find another amazing view of a valley full of Joshua trees.
Park staff were very friendly and helpful. Be forewarned, all toilet facilities are outhouses. They have them all over the park, but the ones at the campgrounds get heavier use.
We were there for two days and got to see the highlights. We went in early March and the weather was cool (68 deg) and sunny. Park wasn't too crowded. But we went on a Monday and Tuesday. It's easy striking distance from LA so beware of weekend crowds.

Beautiful scenery and places to hike in February and cooler times, but it would be too hot to hike in the prime of summer.
There should be some cafes or at least a couple simple restaurants in the park and there were none. There were barely enough vault toilets to accomodate all the visitors within the park, and they were sadly not very clean or pleasant.

This is a true wonder with fantastic sunset views over Coachella valley, and with stunning granite roc formations. Try it ideally outside of long weekends as this is a bit bothering to see more cars than trees 😀.

I loved all of the thrift stores and the outdoor market was wonderful too. Fantastic places to eat like Crossroads Cafe and see live music like Pappy and Harriet's. Fun sights to see like the crochet museum and art galleries throughout the town. Beautiful national park, absolutely gorgeous place to take photographs, especially at dusk when the silhouettes of the joshua trees stand out against the setting sun. Stargazing is mesmerizing in the park at night, but also very satisfying from anywhere in town. Easy to navigate and walk around town.

Star-gazing was great but the nights in November are cold , so bundle up.
Gloves and a hat would have helped. Go early in the day so there was no wait at the entrance to check in and get a pass beforehand. The views are amazing. Some trails are not marked very well, so it's easy to get lost, even on a mile easy hike. We got lost at Baker Dam and of course didn't bring everything you need on a hike, it was only 1 mile hike but turned into a 3 plus mile hike. November is a great time to go.
Location was good, close to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Quiet at night and you could stargaze in the big backyard which had hammocks. Did not use the hot tub which was heated for our arrival.
Bright and clean house with ample room. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout like local Joshua Tree coffee, diptyque candles, incense, curated reading materials and cookbooks. Well stocked kitchen, which had everything we needed.
Friendly communications and clear instructions to the house
We are repeat guests - stayed here five years ago and every bit as wonderful this time as it was then. Spectacular location (less than 10 minutes from JTNP) and clean, comfy, incredibly reasonably priced place! A bit of a snafu with key mixup with other guests when we arrived, but property manager Roy was responsive, helpful, friendly and professional. All good in the end and would definitely recommend and return if/when we return to Joshua Tree. Thank you! :)
Sunrise from the front porch, lovely sunset and stars from the back porch. A perfect location to the West entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Soooo quiet and tranquil soaking in the High Desert. Hosts were extremely attentive and the home was exactly as shown on the website.
This home is perfect for families or couples looking for a respite and a place to plan your days hiking the amazing trails of Joshua Tree!
Hot tub, pool, and outdoor relaxation space were a fun addition to our outdoor adventures in Joshua Tree National Park. Our host went above and beyond with daily checkins and assistance. Kitchen was very helpful because the restaurants were crowded during spring break. Beds very comfortable. House quite close to the park so we hiked every day.
Warm welcome from the owners. Beautiful setting. Clear night skies for star gazing. Good WiFi. Secure parking. Able to order pizza, s’mores, firewood to enjoy and brought to yurt. In the morning fresh coffee brought to our yurt( at extra cost). Limited breakfast food option, which suited us. Easy access into Joshua Tree Park for hikes.
Located a bit outside of the town of Joshua Tree, this home was a nice retreat after a day of hiking and exploring in the Joshua Tree Park. The outdoor games were nice and I like how the house was outfitted. The big glass doors on the back of the house are very nice and let in a lot of light.
Great location! Close to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. The pool is a great way to cool off from the desert heat. The room is great en clean. Very cozy and it has all you need. Communication with the owner/manager went great. Overall very happy with our stay!
Cozy home right outside the entrance to Joshua tree national park. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, adorable backyard with a relaxing hot tub. My kiddo especially liked the pac man game in the kids room! Quick and easy communication with the property managers.
this villa has a very convenient location to get into Joshua Tree National Park, a few steps from Joshua Tree Visitor Center, there are many eateries and cafes nearby. The kitchen is quite complete with cooking utensils and dishes...
Perfect location and setting for a couple day stay near Joshua Tree National Park. The house has everything needed for a relaxing retreat. The hosts are very communicative and caring of a successful experience.
The facility is older and I did not find the unique garden inviting but it could have been out of commission due to it being January. Located right in Joshua Tree so convenient to Western entry to park.
liked that it is located near the main entrance to Joshua Tree Park. Beautiful view of the sunset, mountains, moon and stars in the evening. Very interesting wild lizards run around the hotel.
Great architecture, stylish decor, close to Joshua Tree NP. Nice touches such as bottle of wine on arrival, vinyl disc player, hot tub, cowboy bathtub.
