Tentrr partners with private and public landowners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor locations. Our campsites are off-the-grid, meaning they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform. Larger parties can also use an extra 5-person pop-up tent stored onsite. You'll also have a picnic table, a dry box for storage, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs for outdoor furniture. Please note that heating units and fire pits may sometimes be subject to fire regulations and temporary burn bans - verify with your Tentrr Host and plan accordingly if these items are unavailable. The availability of other amenities like bedding or firewood also varies from site to site (some sites are more rustic and bare-bones than others), so we recommend reading through the listing description carefully before booking. Experience camping on a Christmas Tree Farm bordering Rothrock State Forest and in close proximity to State College, PA and Raystown Lake. Looking for a place to stop and smell the Christmas trees? Escape to the rolling, tree-lined hills of a Christmas tree farm with a ready-to-go campsite. Camp with minimal effort in the included platform tent with a queen size bed and an accompanying pop-up tent. Campsite includes a fire pit, picnic table, Adirondack chairs, and a Tentrr Loo. One bundle of firewood is included (additional are available for purchase). Campsite overlooks sizable pond perfect for fishing, and property borders Rothrock State Forest, perfect for exploring, hiking, and cross country skiing. A short drive will get you to Alan Seeger Natural Area, Whipple's Dam, and Greenwood Furnace. Hop in the car for 30 minutes to get to State College, PA or Raystown Lake. While you stay, consider adding on a tree farm tour, guided hike, fresh linens, pond fishing gear, s'mores kit, and so much more! Your hosts, Larry and Ashley, followed their dream from city to owning a Christmas tree farm in 2020. Site guidelines Check-in time is 3 PM. Bed in canvas tent has a queen memory foam mattress, but be sure to bring your own bedding unless you add on fresh linens. Bring your own food, but please keep it tightly sealed in containers or coolers. No fires except at campsite in fire pit. No outside firewood is allowed. First bundle is included and additional bundle are available for purchase. No fireworks. No hunting. Well behaved dogs are all permitted on leash. Pick up all trash and secure at designated spot next to parking area. Fishing in pond is "catch and release" only. This is a non-smoking property. Before departing the campsite, you must clean and tidy area. Failure to follow these guidelines can result in a minimum cleaning fee of 50.
