The whole experience was amazing. The activities during the trip were all well planned. The guides were all very competent and super friendly. There were enough stops on the long journey. I can only recommend this trip. But please read the description carefully, the trip is not for people with poor fitness. The hike in the rainforest is not easy and is sometimes really steep uphill. If you can't manage it because of a lack of fitness, that would be a real shame, as it is already a highlight of the trip. The rafting is also cool, you just get completely soaked. But it doesn't matter in these temperatures. The lunch is very simple but was still delicious. Vegetarians and any intolerances are also taken into account. Clearly recommended.
The total trip was really amaizing. Thé guide was verry friendly, and told us a lot of verry interesting, funny and historical stories. Besides that, he know when to adapt if thé weather is not as expected, but make thé tour as interesting as it should always be. The food was really good, and you had a beautyfull sunset vieuw while eating. We also had an unexpected visit of otters at that moment! wauw! Thé fireflies tour we're also beautyfull. You got thé idea of how thé jungle would feel like because of it; Thé silence around thé lake combined with a few monkey and bird noises made it pritty special. Totally worth it. 👌
Everything was very well organized...we were a small group of 12 people in a very large and comfortable coach...very informative about the country and its people, flora and fauna...the climb up the rainforest was a little strenuous...you go over lots of wooden steps and tree roots to the lookout point...then back to the boat over four different suspension bridges. Lunch was simple but very tasty. Then we went to a typical village. Here, too, a lot of knowledge was imparted. Finally, there was the very wet return trip by boat. Overall, it was a very nice trip.
Our guide Bala was great. Very knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions. We enjoyed each stop, and the firefly tour option that was used seemed much better than many of the others (quiet boat, small group, quiet stretch of river, lots of fireflies).
This was so amazing and Noorman was the best guide ! I can’t believe how much we managed to do and see in just one day! Cannot recommend this enough !!!
