Are you a bookworm? If you have been working hard and need a break, this quirky luxury resort in Koh Samui might be the right spot for your next holiday! If you love reading you won’t be on your own. At The Library Koh Samui, even the statues read books.

These white contemporary statues dot the garden and are fun to check out.

When planning a Thailand itinerary Koh Samui is often at the top of the list for its fabulous beaches and quirky places to stay but if you’re visiting with kids you might want to check out this 10-day Thailand itinerary

This book-themed hotel is right on Chaweng Beach 4km from the airport and not far from Koh Samui’s Big Buddha. Most visitors to Koh Samui are drawn by the beach.

Fortunately, The Library Koh Samui ticks this box too. The designer boutique resort is located right on Koh Samui’s Chaweng Beach.

Why is it special?

Well, The Library is ultra hip and quite unique.

Who would have thought a boutique beach hotel based on books would be so popular?

There’s also the novelty of swimming in a red pool.

The Red Pool is red because of its mosaic of orange, yellow and blood-red tiles.

As the resort is compact you won’t have to go on a cross-country hike to get to the beach. Chaweng Beach is only a few steps away from the rooms and suites.

The Rooms at The Library

There are Smart Studios and three types of suites (Exotic Suite, Two Bedroom Suite and The Bookmark).

They have balconies or garden terraces.

The decor is modern minimalist and rooms are perfect for techno geeks.

They have iMac computers, flat-screen TVs, wireless headsets and free Wi-Fi.

The top room is aptly called The Bookmark and is a spacious suite decorated with soft flowing fabrics.

The Lib

Not to be confused with the name of the hotel, The Lib is the library at The Library and has DVDs, CDs as well as books.

Of course, there’s a helpful librarian (a real person not a statue) who is there to assist.

The Page offers Thai dining by the beach while the Beach Bar hits the spot for creative cocktails and jazz.
